Case study for one 1.000 MT/day factory (2 towers @500 MT/day)
- Each 1.000 MT/day factory will be built up initially as one 500 MT/day CemTower with standard industry equipment before and after with a capacity of 1.000 MT/day. This allows an easy expansion from 500 MT to 1.000 MT per day with the addition of an extra tower. The base price for a 500 MT per day capacity plant is US$16-18 million. An extra tower is approx. US$ 9 million.
- Each 1.000 MT/day plant can produce up to 350.000 MT/year calcined clay. The cost per ton produced varies from US$10-30 per ton with a local/export price based on the price of slag, delivered of up to US$100-200 per MT.
-
Our share of equity contribution per 1.000 MT factory is US$ 3.5-4 million with 75% project financing guaranteed by Danish or UK export credit.
Each 1.000 MT/day factory is budgeted at generating US$90 million in free cash flow over a 10-year period of which our share is 50% or US$45 million.
